As we look to the future, we need to be cognizant of our entire community. I hope to help steer city-wide decisions in a more conscientious and equitable way.
Education.
Our children need access to a safe and prosperous school system. Education creates a critical foundation for our children’s future and great schools benefit the entire community.
Environment.
Newport is affected by climate change - from sea-level rise; storm water management; energy; and economy. Newport should be a leader in climate change resiliency.
Economy.
Newport needs to capitalize on our strengths to build a stronger year-round economy, while balancing tourism. This can be accomplished through strategy and municipal investment
